Kawasaki Ninja 250R was first introduced by Kawasaki in 1983. This bike is considered as one of the best entry level sports bike and has undergone two major redesigns in the past 25 years. The engine and chassis design of Ninja 250R are such that the motorcycle earns full respect in both the standard and sports classes. Alongside the engine and chassis design the riding posture also provides a balance between standard and sport. The motorcycle can easily cover a quarter mile in less than 16 seconds @ 81.98 mph. The latest model which is also known as the fourth generation or EX250-J provided the first major update in design over a number of years. Unlike the previous versions, the fourth generation incorporated 17-inch wheels in order to provide the motorcycle more modern and sporty look. The exterior panels were completely redesigned in order to give the motorcycle a look of the late-2000s sport bikes. Not only the external panels and the wheels were replaced, the front suspension was also vastly improved providing the rider a much comfortable ride over difficult terrain. A large petal shape was also added in the Ninja 250R replacing the old brake motors. In the latest Kawasaki Ninja 250R the temperature gauge was replaced by a fuel gauge in the carburetor. With all these changes and improvements the EX250-J weighs 10kgs more than the previous three versions.
